Hundreds of
family, friends, and locals turned up to celebrate the wedding of their
man. Sangstar has finally put aside his political interests
and turns to his long time fiancee, Christina Vaea for comfort.
Saulala and Vaea ties the knot last weekend. The
wedding ceremony was held at one of the most beautiful halls of the
Tokaikolo church in the village of Ha’ateiho and the
reception was served at Lavengamalie Hall.
Sangstar is
the second eldest son of Dr. Liufau and Falamoni Saulala - the
President of Tokaikolo Church. He is also the Managing
Director for TV OBN which is known to be the
“People’s TV”. Sangstar
Saulala’s political roller coaster has been colourful over
the decade. Early in his political career, he fiercely
attacked the philosophy of the pro-democracy leaders and gave his full
support to the Royals and the government. Early 2005,
Sangstar surprised the democrats and their followers by siding with
them. TNEWS understands that the relationship between the
then Crown Prince and Sangstar Saulala turned sour due to some
revelation the then Crown Prince is trying to use the country for his
own gain. Sangstar, gave his full support to the democrats.
