The Tonga Family Health Association – TFHA has officially launched a series of programs geared towards youth empowerment.
The program got kicked off at Navutoka on Tuesday and Tatakamotonga on Wednesday as it is the wish of the Patron of the Tonga family Health association – Her Royal Highness Princess Pilolevu Tuita (pictured left) to get started from the estates of Tungii.
This is a continuation of the various programs carried out in the past although this time some of the villages are fortunate to be a part of it.

In her opening remarks broadcast to the whole nation on Tuesday November 6th, Her Royal Highness highlighted the important of youths within the society and therefore should have the best possible means of attention from the public in general.
Her Royal Highness pointed out three major groups in which the emphasis of the programme lies on.
“The target points at village youths, single mothers as well as unemployed youth because they are the ones most likely to be affected by problems caused by various developments caused by western civilization. They will be the ones who will be affected the most,” said the Princess.
