Alcohol consumption has become a problem among some of the Tongan workers under the New Zealand Regional Seasonal Employment reports Radio Tonga.
Local media is reporting that one of the Togan workers in the Southern island of NZ has been charged with rape due to excessive alcohol consumption.
But the officer in charge of Employment Unit of the Ministry of Labour, Commerce, and Industries, Sione Maumau says he hasn’t been able to confirm that.
