The village of Masilamea about 16 km west of Nuku’alofa held their very first reunion programme which started on December 28th until Sunday 6th January.

The reunion brought about 40 people from New Zealand 15 from Australia 5 from Hawaii and Fiji and hundreds from all over the Kingdom.
On the 28th December, a special traditional welcome was conducted for visitors complete with a kava circle and all the traditional activities that go with the kava circle. Later in the evening the reunion programme was officially opened with a night of worship and singing.
Programmes over the ten days started either with a special worship in one of the churches in Masilamea or family devotions. After worship and devotion each morning, all came together for a morning exercise except on Sundays.
