Prime Minister,
I am amused by the letters written by Mana Fatulisi, but I'm not surprised that the government is denying the allegations and attempting to shift the focus to their proposed legal actions against the now reknown Mana Fatulisi.
I want to propose to the prime minister and his government to allow the people's representatives and others who support democratisation, to utilise the nation's media, Radio and TV Tonga(A3Z). Don't edit their dialogue, and allow them to voice their opinion of corruption in government. And if you think it's a lie, sue them. But not letting them on government media alone proves your corruption.
Dictatorship is very obvious in government and the powers they enact with their media. Government leaders appear on tv or radio to attack their adversaries, the people's representatives, but the victims of their criticism are not allowed to respond on government tv.
Actually, 'Elenoa 'Amanaki, general manager of radio and tv Tonga has revealed that the prime minister, chairman of the A3Z board, has prohibited them from allowing the people's representatives and certain pro-democracy supporters from appearing on government media.
So, how is anyone expected to believe the government, when they are completely concealing the truth from their subjects. And they have recruited other media like Tonga Times newspaper and Matangi Tonga website to support their propaganda.
If you insist that you have the support of the people, I propose to Feleti Sevele to enter the election for Parliament. But, you know very well how the people despise you, and there is no way you will jeopardise your future as prime minister. There's no way you will let yourself run in the election, because you already know the result.
People have to resort to Mana Fatulisi's methods, to disguise themselves, because if their identity is known, they risk their wellbeing. I propose the submission of a petition to the king to demand a resignation from the prime minister, because our families are undoubtedly struggling from his incompetence and ignorance.
Regards,
Mate ma'a Tonga
