Koe ki'i List MP ko 'ena 'ae Green ko Keith Locke koe fo'i temo folalahi. ko e 'ai ke 'alu 'ae minisita 'o toe talanoa moe kau prodemo he ko hai nautolu. pea 'oku 'ikai ke nau kau kinautolu he lau. 'ai ke mou 'ilo 'e 'ikai ke 'alu ha taha mei ha pule'anga 'o talanoa mo e kau demo ka e tuku 'ae pule'anga. vale ngangau. mou oo 'o 'ai hamou pule'anga ho'omou kui kemou fa'iteliha kiai. 'Oku pule pe 'ae Tu'i 'i Tonga he ko hono pule'anga pea mo hono kakai. tuku ho'omou ta'emahino mo e fakapiko.
The truth is (and that we should all be aware of pacific islanders), it is not true that the reason for the US, Australia and New Zealand's worldwide push for Human Rights and Democracy (such as their involement in Europe and the Middle East and the Pacific as well etc) is because (as we are all led to believe) they actually care about the welfare of, and problems suffered by, these people in these areas (such as the political one suffered by the Tongans in Tonga). It is just for their own interests first that they do all these acting: these hypocritical push for democracy and human rights around the world. This was a lesson America learned from the two World Wars: That America was no longer safe if she continued to remain neutral and kept her hands to herself and not join the rest of the world. That's how the Peace Corps came to Tonga and the real begining of the push for democracy around the world by America. So whatever these 3 countries, as above-mentioned, are doing is not new because it is just a shadow of what America planned to do after the two World Wars, or it follows from that; and their root purpose is not really to help others, as we are falsely led to believe, but to ensure national security for their own countries. So we should not be surprised that Winston, the New Zealand Minister, who visited Tonga did not make the effort to meet with the people's Representatives, because (like I told you) it is not the people of Tonga (or any other peoples of any countries that they come into contact with) that they really care about, it is their own national security and interests that come first. That should also explain why the New Zealand High Commissioner (or whatever) to Tonga, in Tonga, turned away Mr. 'Alani Taione (a Tongan-born New Zealand Citizen) who came to him asking for his protection from the Tongan soldiers who threatened his life in Tonga. This Commissioner actually called the Tongan police to remove this Mr. Taione from the NZ Commissioner's premises.
We should not blame them for doing their job to safeguard their own interests first, despite the fact that they are using others (host countries) to implement this purpose in lots and lots of ways like: giving foreign Aids; visits; setting up embassies; sending Commissioners etc. They are posted everywhere around the world just for that purpose. When something happens like the problems in Tonga or Mr. Winston's visit, or Mr. Taione's seeking help from the Commissioner, of course, they must have already taken into account the interests of their country first and the purpose for their being there. It's the New Zealand interests, not Tonga's, that is important to them. It shouldn't be a surprise at all that it happened that way.
Our job as outsiders is to know (just know) what these people (US, NZ & Aust) have in mind when we do things together.
May God bless our helpless people in Tonga.

Queenb 'oku ou faka'amu ke fakatonutonu ho'o lea. 'Oku 'ikai ke totonu ke fa'iteliha 'ae Tu'i he pule'anga Tonga. It is wrong to do that in such a kuonga maama ko 'eni. 'Oku 'iai 'ae lea Tonga 'oku pehe "'alu 'o kumi ho'o fa'eetangata 'o fai kiai ho'o fa'iteliha". 'Oku makatu'unga 'ae mamahi 'ae kakai 'o Tongaa koe fa'ahinga fakakaukau ko 'ena 'oku ke 'omai. It is not a smart comment queenb to say stuff out of anger. Freedom is something a lot of country shed blood for. for us in Tonga, we will do the same if our freedom withheld from us. It is and will be a natural reaction if people react to such a regime.
May God bless Keith Locke and the Demo in Tonga.
